About
About Martha C. Digby, RP
I’m a Registered Psychotherapist whose practice has focused on narcissistic abuse recovery since 2014. I’ve worked with more than 1,350 clients and accumulated over 10,000 hours of clinical experience supporting people through the confusion, emotional impact and often complex process of recovery.
Through this work, I came to recognize that recovery tends to unfold in distinct stages. Those stages are:
STABILIZE
A time to calm the nervous system and regain a sense of clarity and steadiness
DETACH
Here we focus on working through trauma bonding, persistent attachment and repetitive thinking.
RECLAIM
Focused on emotional regulation, boundaries and reconnecting with yourself.
INTEGRATE
To support moving forward, managing triggers and building a more grounded future.
This progression became the foundation of the Narcissistic Abuse Recovery Method™.
Cost-Effective, Without Compromise
I also became increasingly aware that not everyone can access specialized psychotherapy. Geography, cost, availability, timing — or simply wanting to work privately and independently — can all be barriers. I wanted to take the depth of what I had learned through thousands of hours of specialized clinical work and make it accessible to more people.
That is why I developed and personally narrated these guided recovery audios: to provide structured, clinician-created tools you can use independently, at your own pace and from the comfort and privacy of your own home.
The Narcissistic Abuse Recovery Method™ is not psychotherapy and does not replace individualized mental health care. It is my way of extending specialized recovery education and guided tools beyond the walls of my clinical practice — so more people can access structured support as they move through recovery.
I wish you the very best as you navigate your recovery. Wherever you are in the process, I hope the Narcissistic Abuse Recovery Method™ offers you clarity, support and a meaningful way forward.
If the Method has been helpful to you, I would truly appreciate a review. Sharing your experience may help someone else feel less alone, understand what recovery can look like, and take their own next step.
